Curried Lentil Soup

I am taking care of my mother this week and made this soup for our dinner.
She was just put on a high-fiber and seedless diet, so I've been trying to
figure out how to make something with tomatoes, but without its seeds. The
original recipe had a can of tomatoes in it instead of the sun-dried
tomatoes and tomato sauce which I used. I would have used tomato puree but
I couldn't find it at the grocery store. I dug all the seeds out of the
sun-dried tomatoes which seemed easier to do than with fresh tomatoes.

Fortunately my mother prefers meatless and fatfree, so it isn't hard to
cook for both of us.
