I used to buy celery and throw out more than half of all I would bring into the house. Now when I buy celery, I cut it into 1/2" pieces and freeze. I always have celery ready when I want it, and never go to the veg. bin to find it mushy and ready for the compose. Not an original idea---I read it here first. Love, Dana
