I understood this to mean that 1/3 cup of blackstrap molasses could be
substituted for 1/3 cup of the dark molasses. Total amount of molasses
should equal 1 1/2 cups.
Since blackstrap molasses has a much stronger flavor, using a full 1 1/2
cups of it would adversely affect the flavor of the cookies.
