Molasses in gingerbread cookies?

Dear Yaegers,
I am confused (not an unusual circumstance) about the quantity of molasses you use in this recipe. Do you use 1/3 cup rather than 1.5 cups as called for?? If so do you add anything else to make up for the difference in liquid? Thanks for any clarification. This sounds like a great recipe.
Jana

Why do "overlook" and "oversee" mean opposite things?
