Salt-Free Seasonings
All Purpose Seasoning #1
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried marjoram
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried savory
1 tsp dried onion powder
1 tsp ground white pepper
1 tsp ground mace (optional)
All Purpose Seasoning #2
1 tbsp parsley flakes
1 tbsp tarragon leaves
1-1/2 oregano leaves
1-1/2 dill weed
1 tsp celery seed
Italian Seasoning
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried marjoram
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Vegetable Seasoning
4 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dried basil
1 tsp dried mint
1 tsp dried tarragon
1 tsp dried thyme
Tofu Mayonnaise
1 cup tofu, well drained
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp Dijon-style mustard (no salt added type)
1/4 dry mustard
white pepper to taste
Puree in food processor or blender. Cover and let stand 1 hour before using.
Seafood Salad Dressing
1 cup tofu mayonnaise
3 tbsp tomato paste
1-1/2 tbsp white wine vinegar or rice vinegar
2 tbsp finely chopped green pepper
2 tbsp finely chopped green onion
1 tsp lemon juice
Hot & Spicy Seasoning
2 tbsp tumeric
1-1/2 tbsp coriander
1 tsp cayenne
2 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground white pepper
In addition to Mrs. Dash, there is also Cavender's All Purpose Greek
Seasoning (with lots of pepper). It has no salt but a little sugar.
