Oooh, there are lots of things! I like them as a mushroom (instead of
b**f) stroganoff over wide noodles or rice. I also sautee them and pour
them over a baked potato, or (my favourite), over a large toasted bagel.
(I would guess a little fat free cheese over top then under the broiler for
a minute or two would really complete the dish.)
When I sautee 'shrooms, I add no more than a tsp. of water to the frying
pan, then add the "4 'S' words" as they cook:
sugar
salt
soy sauce
savoury
They are AWSOME sauteed this way!
