I too tried the recently posted recipe for sugar cookies without success.
The "dough" was runny like cake batter so I added a bunch more flour. It
was still way too sticky. I didn't want to waste a bunch more flour for
something that I was afraid wouldn't turn out anyway so I just poured it in
a baking dish and baked it like a cake. Although it was quite a bit denser
than a cake, it was edible when we drizzled a little maple syrup over it.
There must have been a mistake in the amounts in the original recipe (not
enough flour or too much milk).
