Hi,
Best way to store ginger is to freeze it. Just plop the whole thing in
the freezer. When you want some simply scrape the frozen ginger to remove
the skin from a portion of it and Grate. It is easier to peel that way and
easier to grate.- the filaments in the ginger do not keep clogging up the
grater.
The flowerpot thing used to sorta work for me. Sometimes when you cut it
off the whole thing rots and dies. Also needs water and light and getting
your hands dirty when you are cooking.
