Hi! I love pasta and experiment constantly with sauces.Here's a family
favotite.
1 onion diced
6 cloves garlic(I press them,you could finely dice them)
saute these in water till the onion begins to become clear.
add:
2 stalks celery finely chopped
1 green pepper diced
1 pound mushrooms sliced
2 cans tomato paste(small)
1 large can stewed tomatoes
1 large can pureed tomatoes
basil
salt > all to taste
pepper
simmer a half hour or longer. Spoon over hot pasta
opt: fat free parmesan cheese
