grapefruit

For the person who has too many grapefruit, try adding halved grapefruit
sections to a green salad.  I use 1 good-sized grapefruit per 3 or 4
people; the other ingredients are generous servings of romaine lettuce
with some sliced or chopped red onion and maybe some cucumber.  I like a
non-creamy vinaigrette-type ff dressing with this.  The sweetness of the
grapefruit against the crunchy romaine, the "bite" of the onion, and the
tartness of the dressing is delicious.

Of course, one of my students saw me eating it and went "Ick! Grapefruit
in a salad?"  But then, she may just hate grapefruit.  (It's also good
with oranges.)
