Bean Equivalencies

I cut this info out of the newspaper in about 1995, and it has been taped
to the wall in my pantry cupboard ever since. Glad SOMEONE will be
consulting it! I usually forget it's there:

*1 cup dry packaged beans (uncooked) = about 2 (15-1/2) ounce cans of beans
(drained)
*1 pound dry packaged beans (uncooked) = 2 cups dry = 6 cups cooked beans
(drained) = 3-1/2 (15-1/2 ounce) cans of beans (drained)
*1 (15-1/2 ounce) can beans (drained) = 1-2/3 cups cooked beans.

Hope that helps.
