Pat asked for a thickener for Rice Dream. I used Potato Starch (I believe
potato flour is the same thing.) I have found it in Asian markets and the
Kosher foods sections of supermarkets. You use it like cornstarch - mix with
a small amount of cold liquid before adding to hot. I think it thickens
faster and somewhat less has to be used than cornstarch. I used it to thicken
a mixture of leftover rice, cut up peaches & Rice Dream to make a quick
