Couscous is pasta, tiny pasta. Usually made from durum flour, sometimes
made from whole wheat flour.
I like pasta as much as anyone, but remember, it is basically flour and
water,this makes paste! Little if any real food value.
I recommend you try bulghar wheat. It can be used in similar ways, but it is
actually wheat kernels, less processed than couscous, the "germ" and fiber
is all intact.
