Hi, I haven't been around for a while but have been reading the digests.
In the past I have asked for suggestions for a sub for evaporated milk.
Today I thought of one. Since I use White Wave Soy Creamer quite a bit I
have noticed it is pretty thick and doesn't have that obvious soy taste.
Soooo, I am going to use it as a sub for evaporated milk in my pumpkin pie
recipe this week. I will let you know how it works.
Ps: My hub always groans and moans about things that propose to be what they
aren't-like boca burgers, tempeh bacon, and the like. So if this gets past
him, it will have passed the test.
