NonFat Spinach Dip

For the person who requested SPINACH DIP:

Basic recipe:

-1 container (15oz?) nonfat sour cream
(I think the best is Breakstone, but Land-o-lands is a close second,
I don't recomend using 'store brands' - runny and ichy)
-1 pkg (10oz) frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed as dry as possible
-1 envelope Lipton Vegetable Soup Mix (I always use Lipton! other brands
(Knorr, Mrs Grass, etc... are not nearly as good, in my opinion). I am not
positive that Lipton does not have any non-vegetarian ingredients- if you
are strict, you might check

Mix all together well. Can be easily doubled.

optional ingredients to stir in:
-1 small can water chestnets, drained and finely chopped
-1 red bell pepper, chopped
- some chopped onion to taste.
-some thinly sliced celery to taste

This dip is thick and so works for crackers and bread as a
spread, as well as with veggies (baby carrotts, cucumber
slices are my favorites)
